@gigasquid
Carin started off as a professional ballet dancer, studied Physics in college, and has been developing software for both the enterprise and entrepreneur ever since. She has a thing for Clojure and can be usually found with a cup of tea in her hand, hacking on robots and working hard to make them self aware. She is the author of “Living Clojure” by O’Reilly, is involved in the Apache MXNet project, and works for Cognitect as a developer.
Can you GAN?
We’ll take a look at the generative side of machine learning with Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). From the simple, elegant fundamentals of building models to the uncanny and sometimes just weird computer creations, we’ll see how deep learning can augment human creativity and help us explore new horizons. Finally, we’ll use the power of the Apache MXNet framework with Clojure to bring some real GAN code to life in a demo.
